De quels modèles s’est-on soutenu dans cette opération qui a d’abord été envisagée en termes d’extension, puis de planification, enfin d’aménagement ? La façon dont la politique urbaine a été conduite en région parisienne entre 1919 – date des premiers projets –, et 1969 – quand prend fin la mission de Paul Delouvrier –, a fait l’objet de nombreux commentaires. En sociologie et après la Seconde Guerre mondiale, elle a été principalement située dans la perspective d’un « marxisme urbain ». Elle est aujourd’hui réexaminée dans le cadre de recherches qui font une plus large place aux acteurs concernés. |
