La prégnance des thèmes identitaires de la femme et du féminin est évidente dans les littératures émergentes, en Tunisie et au Maghreb plus généralement, car il s’agit là d’enjeux déterminants dans la lutte pour la réforme culturelle et sociétale. À partir d’un corpus qui comprend les œuvres écrites en français, en Tunisie, parmi les plus connues des vingt dernières années, nous proposons une lecture synthétique des dominantes thématiques en question, une analyse interprétative et critique des présupposés théoriques des postures relatives à ces thèmes, comme la hiérarchisation des sexes, « l’écriture féminine », ou le « deuxième texte ».

The importance of the identitary themes of Woman and Womanhood is obvious in emerging literatures, in Tunisia and in North-Africa more generally, because they are central questions in the fight for cultural and societal reform. Using a corpus including some of the most famous works written in French in Tunisia over the last twenty years, we suggest a synthetic reading of those dominant themes, a critical and interpretive analysis of the theoretical presuppositions of the postures linked to those themes, such as gender hierarchization, “Woman writing” or “the second text”.
