En fait la généralisation de l’assurance maladie et l’égal accès aux soins ont été une construction progressive et imparfaite, toujours menacée, au prétexte des contraintes économiques, par un courant ultralibéral qui vise à la marchandisation croissante de la santé. Rien n’est jamais acquis.

Every individual’s right to their own health’s protection seems to be obvious. In fact, the generalization of the health insurance and the equal access to healthcare have been a progressive and imperfect construction, always threatened – under the pretext of economical pressure – by an ultraliberal trend aiming for the increasing merchandising of health. Nothing is ever to be taken for granted.
