A l’hôpital, la vue du corps appareillé du patient, inscrit dans les dispositifs de soins, est de nature à choquer le sujet, soignant ou simplement observateur, qui s’y trouve confronté. La relation singulière soignant-soigné peut notamment venir constituer, pour ce sujet observateur, un support de projection pour des fantasmes venant attribuer une dimension sadique à ce rapport de soin, qui vient par ailleurs pointer la difficile ambivalence du rapport au patient. Mais justement, qu’en est-il surtout du patient lui-même ? Après ces temps, surtout précoces, où le corps fut appareillé, et lorsque notamment il en garde ensuite la marque, qu’en est-il des retombées psychiques de cette expérience sur le développement du sujet ?

The peculiar relationship drawned between the caregiver and the patient could be seen, for this observer, as a projective support for sadistic fantasies towards those medical cares or treatments. This somehow highlight the ambiguous and tough relationship towards the patient. And so, what about the patient itself ? During this early times when the body was equipped, and most particularly when it keeps stigmatas from this experience, what the consequences onto the subject’s psychic development are ?
