Ce travail évoque l’orientation théorique d’un atelier ludique et d’expression avec des enfants faisant l’objet d’une mesure de protection de l’enfance et vivant en centre d’accueil municipal. Il a été réalisé par le spa/uerj, par une professeure et ses étudiantes, depuis 2012. L’atelier vise à offrir un lieu d’accueil pour les enfants, leurs angoisses, leurs tristesses, leurs conflits et agressivité, en cherchant à favoriser la capacité de jouer et de réaliser leur expérience créative. Il est organisé à partir de l’expression et de l’imagination des enfants. Ceux-ci peuvent parler, dessiner, jouer à leur rythme et suivant leurs choix.

This paper presents the theoretical framework of a Playful and Expressive Atelier, with children who are under protective measure, living in a public shelter. It has been carried out at the spa/uerj by a teacher and her students, since 2012. The atelier aims to provide a welcoming place to hold the children, their anguish, sorrow, conflict and aggression, seeking to promote the ability of playing and the creative experience. It is organized according to the children’s expression and the imaginary realm. The children can talk, draw, play at their own time and according to their choices.
