<br/><br/> This June 16th – not the one of Nora’s and James’ encounter, nor the day on which Ulysses takes place – 1975 was the occasion for David Hayman, American academic and specialist of Joyce, to experience and relate the first day of the “Joyce International Symposium” in Paris, opening with Lacan’s conference “Joyce le symptome” and ending with dinner with Lacan. “My dinner with Lacan” can be found on the Essaim site, translated into French.
