<br/><br/> Le titre de l’article est une référence au célèbre tableau de R. Magritte, La trahison des images (1928). La guérison existe-t-elle ? La maladie étant perçue différemment du point de vue du corps médical, de l’expérience vécue du malade et de la perception sociale, l’article questionne cette notion de guérison comme un processus et non comme un état. Comme la pipe dans le tableau, la guérison serait-elle un simulacre ? Un espace indifférencié projetant le malade dans un entre-deux impossible ? L’émergence d’un « hors-là », d’un autre Moi, expulse le patient dans un nouveau monde où le retour à un état antérieur de la maladie devient impossible. La guérison se situe-t-elle dans cet exil subi ?  The article’s title is a reference to R. Magritte’s famous painting, La trahison des images (1928). Does healing exist? Illness being perceived differently from the medical point of view, the patients experiences and the social aspect, the term healing or cure are questionned as a process and not as a state. Like the pipe in the painting, would healing be a sham? An undifferentiated area throwing the patient into an impossible in-between? The birth of an uncanny situation, getting the patient into a new world where the return to a previous state of the disease becomes impossible. Is healing situated in this exile?
