À partir d’un cas clinique, l’article vise à interroger les rapports entre santé mentale et réinsertion professionnelle à l’aune des savoirs théoriques et pratiques en psychodynamique du travail. Il montre ainsi que la question de la réinsertion professionnelle doit nécessairement, pour être comprise, en passer par l’analyse de la rencontre entre le sujet et les contraintes de travail auxquelles il est confronté. Une place centrale doit notamment être conférée aux effets de l’organisation gestionnaire du travail sur la santé psychique des travailleurs.

This paper studies a clinical case as a means of exploring the relationship between mental health and professional reintegration from the perspective of our theoretical and practical understanding of the psychodynamics of work. We will also demonstrate how any understanding of the question of professional reintegration must involve an analysis of the encounter between the subject and the constraints of the work with which he or she is confronted. The importance of the effect of managerial organisation on the mental health of workers is also studied.
