Le recours aux pairs et l’identification aux figures héroïques aident l’adolescent dans ce travail de construction subjective. Le choix d’une figure héroïque résonne avec des aspects précoces de la relation père-fils. Nous l’illustrons en parcourant l’histoire de ce héros aux multiples facettes mis en scène dans la saga cinématographique Star Wars, à travers le récit de l’évolution psychique du jeune Anakin Skywalker devenant Dark Vador.

From Anakin Skywalker to Dark Vador or Heroism as a Failure of the Process of Adolescence. The processes at work in adolescence and separation with parental objects imply a reworking of identifications and ideals. Peers and identification with heroic figures help the teenager in the task of subjective construction. The choice of hero echoes back aspects of the early father-son relationship. We illustrate this through the story of the psychological transformation of the young Anakin Skywalker into Dark Vador, the hero of the Star Wars saga.
