FROM THE DESIRE FOR A CHILD TO THE REAL BABY Although in the past they were not allowed to procreate, to be pregnant or to become parents, blind and visually deficient mothers now have more freedom. In this work, we will make a clinical study of the pre- and post-natal desire for children, the imaginary infant and the real baby. This new attitude demands an accompaniment both on the psychological and on the pratical level with adapted pediatric nursing. The study of the father/mother/infant relations (sometimes including the guide dog), offer us new notions about all the early mother/baby relations. We thus better understand to what degree visual exchanges had taken up all of our attention until now.Abrégé : LA MATERNIDAD DE LAS MADRES CIEGAS. DEL DESEO DE UN NIÑO AL BEBÉ REAL Las madres ciegas o con problemas de la vista, a las que en otros tiempos se prohibía la procreación, el embarazo y la maternidad, disponen ahora de una mayor libertad. En este trabajo estudiamos la clínica pre y post natal, el deseo de un niño, del niño imaginario al bebé real. Esta nueva actitud exige un acompañamiento tanto en el plano psicológico como en la prctica con una puericultora especializada. El estudio de las relaciones padre/madre/bebé (y eventualmente del perro/guía) aporta nuevas nociones sobre las relaciones precoces madre/bebé. Entendemos mejor de qué manera los intercambios visuales acaparaban hasta entonces nuestra atención.
