Through the electoral history of Jackson Mississippi, in which an openly left radical Black won the municipal elections and became Major, the author makes a political analysis that definitively links democracy to socio-economic conditions, and these to the Participatory democracy and local collaborative economy, far from the sclerosis of traditional bipartisanship.
