Le présent article questionne l’existence d’éventuelles liaisons économiques entre crise et guerre. Après avoir montré la nécessité de sortir du courant néoclassique pour cerner cette problématique (première partie), l’auteur revient aux origines de la crise systémique que nous traversons aujourd’hui (deuxième partie). Il analyse ensuite la concordance des temps de cette même crise et des guerres engagées pour l’hégémonie du système mondial (troisième partie). Puis, c’est la prise de contrôle du secteur militaire – complexe militaro-industriel et sociétés militaires privées – par la haute finance qui est examinée (quatrième partie). Enfin, les liens entre crise et guerre sont étudiés dans leurs effets sur l’accentuation des contradictions actuelles du système capitaliste (cinquième partie). Are crisis and war related?This article states that economic links exist between crisis and war. In a first part, it insists on the necessity to give up the line and framework of the neoclassical mainstream in order to understand such an issue in its complexity. The second part deals with the origins of the current systemic crisis. The third part analyses the moments of this crisis and wars in which the hegemonic power of the world system is involved. Then, it examines, in a fourth part, the control exercised by high finance on the military sector, including military-industrial complex and private military societies. In the final part, the effects of these links between crisis and war on the exacerbation of the current capitalist contradictions are studied. JEL Codes: E32, E62, G38, H56, P12, P43
