Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2018. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The Emilia research program was carried out in Europe over the period between 2005 and 2010. The hypothesis has been formulated that people living with a mental problem have better access to training and employment when they benefit from a program of training based upon re-establishment, empowerment, and social inclusion. At the end of these five years of research, it has been shown that people engaged in Emilia improved their quality of life and are better integrated into society due to the co-construction and participation in training schemes and to personalized help with their work trajectories. Emilia was also the opportunity to engage with people living with a mental health problem, with voluntary organizations, carers, politicians, administrators, and researchers in the movement towards new approaches in mental health and psychiatry. The article gives information about Emilia and shows how an action research initiated on a European level can have major effects on multiple levels and temporalities.
