Reading Robert Soucy

Robert Soucy wants, at all costs, to categorize Colonel de La Rocque among fascist leaders, but the evidences for the prosecution which he displays are not more convincing than those in his book. He persists also in attributing to the founder of the parti social français a ‘praise’ of Nazism ‘on certain points’ without evidence. Michel Winock follows up on a number of citations used in favor of the argued thesis and put them back in their context, calls attention to their misunderstanding and a priori to conclude on the weakness of the demonstration.
