“Engaging young people”. The contribution of popular education to the militant socialisation of youth

In doing so, the article shows the type of engagement that is shaped and exemplified through these schemes, both by popular education organisations and by public authorities. It then raises the question of the ambiguity of political socialisation processes when they occur at the frontier of the State.
