Violence in the family: what support for child victims and perpetrators?

When supporting children and adolescents, the encounter with family configurations at the limits of the unspeakable requires a specific approach and appropriate support. In a Freudian and post-Freudian psychoanalytical filiation, we are interested in the melancholy movements masked behind the adolescent’s clastic acts, through two clinical situations. The first concerns the experience of the child survivor of an attempted infanticide, and the second an adolescent perpetrator of intra-family sexual violence, allowing developments around the fantasy of infanticide and its realization. The presentation of these extreme clinics (child protection, legal follow-up of minors) will allow us to reflect on the kinds of support available for children caught in such suffering, in order to untie family bonds of control.
