Taking risks as a pair. Escalation used as a therapeutic vector and a mediator in adolescence
Type de matériel :
8
Escalation allows the adolescent to have the experience of subjective risk in a context where the objective risk can be controlled and kept within bounds. The interpersonal relationship that is constructed in practice is the pivotal point, but also the means of this objective security in a situation of subjective risk. Some cognitive models of a newborn’s development, models of attachment, as well as the psychoanalytic approach of psychic experience induced by this practice make it possible to apprehend some important processes at play in the adolescent. This perspective supports a conception of escalation as a therapeutic vector and a fruitful activity of mediation in which motor creativity and psychic creativity evolve together.
