It is with the problem of the world that young Pato?ka chooses to resume Husserlian legacy, and it is the problem of the world that will lead him to get over its borders, developing an asubjective phenomenology in which the primacy of transcendental consciousness on the world horizon gives way to the description of the movement of an existence in, from and towards the world. This cosmological problem characterizes a phenomenology which aims to extend beyond itself, to recognize its asubjective conditions of possibility: it refers to the paradoxical ambition to focus below the subject –to the project to throw the philosophy in a deeper openness that the closure of the transcendental subject. Pato?ka thus attempts to fully assume the challenge of thinking from the very limits of phenomenology
