Violence in School: Attachment Theory, a Tool to Better Understand the Passage to the Act
Type de matériel :

Children’s violence in schools is a serious concern despite the fact that research data paints a more nuanced picture. Longitudinal studies are useful for describing the evolution of violent behavior common to all children from an early age but then regresses with the onset of language and understanding of others’ emotions. Attachment theory sheds light on the reasons for some passages to the act and how some children, on the basis of early interpersonal experiences, come to see others as hostile or threatening. This theory can also be used to help us develop methods of intervention carried out jointly by various professionals working with children.
