Girls’ First Sexual Relationships and Solidarity in Friend Groups
Type de matériel :

The establishment of sexuality is an important turning point in the adolescent’s development. In fact, it projects childhood and the child’s dependencies on the parents into a future where it is the adolescent’s turn to become parent. Peer relationships and the values of solidarity and confidence are the bases that will reinforce self-confidence, self-respect, respect for others, and dialogue which, for the adolescent, will act as a sound foundation of the motivation to preserve health and to address his/her own choices in life. However, under the pretext of solidarity and loyalty, the functioning of a group of friends may idealize the individual difficulties of some of its members.
