The pandemic linked to Covid-19 forced politicians to invent from day to day a health policy whose effects were harmful for the population due to the heavy deprivations that it required. It revealed numerous elements rendered invisible by the ultraliberal politics practised for several decades. The exploration of these effects highlights the repression of the feminine, of care shown for others, in favour of a warlike and violent ideology and tight management aimed at undermining the hospital public service and its personnel. Women developed particular symptoms showing that they mobilized themselves to preserve life. They thus paid a heavy social toll to the pandemic.
