Using data from the MFV study (Migrations, Family and Aging) conducted in 2020-2021 by INED, this article provides a glimpse into the process of becoming an adult for young people born in Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guyana, and Reunion. The five main events studied over this period between the end of childhood and adulthood are the end of study, moving out of home, forming stable relationships, becoming parents, and getting a first job. An original analysis of whether or not a driving licence is obtained is also conducted here. The results show different trajectories depending of the department/region, level of education, and sex.
