Comme on ne peut pas le tuer et qu’il ne veut pas se suicider, il se trouve condamné à disparaître en s’effaçant comme sujet pour pouvoir vivre sans exister au milieu des inclus. Néanmoins sa vie se trouve raccourcie: il meurt de honte.

The excluded man has not the usefulness of the exploited people. He is in the way. As people do not want to kill him and as he does not want to commit suicid, he finds himself condamned to disappear by stepping aside as a subject in order to live without existing among included people. Nevertheless, his life is shortened: he is ashamed to death.
