Interpretation in the Transsubjective Space

This paper proposes an “interpretation in the transsubjective space” based on the theoretical concept of “ambiguity” that, as a “major defense,” allows the subject to adapt to traumatic social conditions. As a “minor defense,” ambiguity is always present in everyday life (as indifference, conformism, or banalization). The ethical risks and the signals of ambiguity in the therapeutic (transferal and counter-transferal) context are examined in relation to social macrocontext conditions.
