The positive leader: Transforming oneself in order to foster passion and well-being at work

This article proposes drawing on positive psychology applied to organizations in order to go beyond the Taylorist model of leadership based on “command, control, and execution.” Our approach is based on the following questions: Does the positive leader promote passion and well-being at work? If so, how can we explain interconnections between these? We try to clarify the process of such a dynamic within OCP Répartition, a major player in the supply chain of health products. The research design combines qualitative and quantitative methodology. The purpose is to promote the inner transformation of leaders and employees in the long term by fostering their well-being and improving their efficiency.
