The impact of data interpretation on the intention to prescribe a medication for neuropathic pain
Type de matériel :

In a randomized study in a teaching context at the University of Lyon, France, we sought to measure the impact of scientific data interpretation on prescription intentions. Two different methodological approaches were used to interpret the same scientific data in the context of neuropathic pain treatment. These methodologies influenced the prescription intentions of general practice residents. This example illustrates the evidence-based medicine approach to the prescription of drugs, even if the level of evidence is low in the two vignettes presented.
