Corporate theater offers many diversity training opportunities. Yet corporate theater companies’ relationships with their clients’ companies have received little academic attention. This study focuses on corporate theater’s contribution as a tool against discriminatory mechanisms in organizations. A triangulated qualitative methodology based on twenty semi-directive interviews (conducted with corporate theater companies and their clients’ companies) and several non-participating observations is used. The results show that corporate theater training, perceived as an accelerator of diversity awareness, focuses on certain dimensions, most often in order to comply with the law. However, the lack of evaluation of training courses raises questions about their effectiveness. This article puts forward some recommendations.
