From the school trajectory to vocation “marks”: the selection of student from preparatory class in catholic private high school

Based on a study by interviews and analysis of student’s cover letter from preparatory class in catholic private high school (“letters and social sciences” study) this paper look at teacher’s understanding categories, which manifest themselves into the process of selection in preparatory class. In first it deals with relation of them with a particulary institutionnal history and educative purposes about feminine congregations. Based on sociologic concept of vocation, we would show this categories they show evidence of meeting individual disposition and institutional expectations in the selection mode, especially for the benefit of students whith small chances to integrate this kind of class.
