PTSD, psychoanalysis and neuroscience

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2021. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : In the context of repeated terrorist attacks, particularly in Europe, studying post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD) has become crucial. In both scientific research and psychotherapeutic care, neuroscience and cognitive and behavioral approaches dominate over psychoanalysis. Nevertheless, the aim of our research is to examine the complementarity between psychoanalysis and neuroscience through a psychodynamic study based on a grounded theory analysis of recorded interviews with adults exposed to the November 13, 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, in a collaboration with Étude 1,000, a subprogram of Programme 13-Novembre. The results of this analysis will then be linked to the results of neuroimaging, neuropsychological, and psychopathological research carried out on the same subjects, implemented by Étude REMEMBER, another subprogram of Programme 13-Novembre.
