Type de matériel :

The author tries to outline the place of the analyst in contemporary psychiatric practice. Clinical work with adolescents illustrates two opposite ways of approaching the patient. Especially with psychotic patients, the analyst’s positioning is guided by an ethical imperative to respect the symptom by opening a space for talking, so as not to prevent a useful questioning of the subject’s unconscious desires.
