| Summary, etc. | Les praticiens et les chercheurs s’intéressent de plus en plus aux services d’administration mobile (m-administration). Toutefois, les études empiriques sur la diffusion de l’administration mobile parmi les usagers sont en nombre insuffisant. En nous fondant sur le modèle d’acceptation de la technologie (TAM) et la littérature qui s’y rapporte, nous avons élaboré un modèle structurel présentant les principaux antécédents de l’intention d’utilisation des services d’administration mobile et ses effets sur l’intention de bouche-à-oreille. Les résultats obtenus à partir d’un échantillon composé de 161 étudiants allemands en administration publique ont, dans une grande mesure, validé notre modèle, à l’exclusion de la relation entre l’interactivité perçue et l’intention d’utilisation, qui n’est pas celle que nous avions anticipée. Remarques à l’intention des praticiensCette étude propose un modèle global d’analyse du succès des applications d’administration mobile. Les professionnels qui développent ce type de services devraient mettre l’accent sur l’utilité, la facilité d’utilisation, un niveau de couverture élevé des services et sur la confidentialité et la sécurité de manière à augmenter l’intention d’utilisation des différents services. D’après nos résultats, l’interactivité n’est pas un facteur significatif d’intention d’utilisation. Notre étude suggère également que les usagers recommanderont les services à d’autres personnes s’ils ont dès le départ l’intention de les utiliser. |

| Summary, etc. | Mobile government services have significantly gained importance for practitioners and researchers. However, there is a lack of empirical investigation into the diffusion of mobile government among users. Based on the technology acceptance model and related literature, we derived a structural model providing the central antecedents of citizens’ usage intention of mobile government services and its effect on word-of-mouth intention. Findings from a sample of 161 German public administration students largely supported the model. Only the anticipated effect of perceived interactivity on intention to use was not supported. Points for practitionersThe study provides a comprehensive model of mobile government applications’ success. Professionals who develop mobile government services should focus on usefulness, usability and a high level of service coverage, as well as privacy and security aspects, to increase citizens’ intention to use the respective service. Interactivity has not been found to be a significant factor for citizens’ intention to use mobile government services. The study also suggests that citizens will recommend the services to others if they intend to use it in the first place. |
