On retrouve les figures des frères et sœurs dans tous les investissements pulsionnels. La différence de génération n’existant pas, le reste de cette fratrie marque, plus que l’identification aux parents, les choix existentiels au niveau du Moi. Les relations de fratrie seraient “ fonction » en jouant comme lien de passage, médiateur entre famille et société. |

| Summary, etc. | The fraternal function The phenomena characterising brother or sisterhood play a particularly important role in large families. The pressure to identify, for example, is considerable. Brothers and sisters play a role in every conceivable form of drive cathexis. In so far as differences in generation do not exist, it is a child’s brothers and sisters, rather than its identification to its parents that determine its existential choices on the level of the ego. Relations between brothers and sisters can indeed be considered a “ function » that plays a linking role, that is to say, a mediatory role, between the family and society. |

Encontramos casos de hermanos y hermanas que evidencian todo tipos de cargas pulsionales. Al no existir la diferencia de generaciones, el resto de la hermandad registra, más que la identificación con los padres, las elecciones existenciales a nivel del yo. Las relaciones de hermandad serían « función » que desempeña el papel de vínculo de paso, mediador entre familia y sociedad. |

| Summary, etc. | Die Funktion der Geschwisterbeziehung In kinderreichen Familien fällt den Phänomenen der Geschwisterbeziehung eine besondere Bedeutung zu. Der Identifikationsdruck ist erheblich. In allen Triebbesetzungen lassen sich die Figuren von Brüdern und Schwestern erkennen. Es gibt keinen Generationsunterschied und die restlichen Geschwister bestimmen die lebenswichtigen Orientierungen auf der Ebene des Ich mehr als die Identifikation mit den Eltern. Geschwisterbeziehungen haben eine « Funktion », insofern sie die Rolle eines Übergansbandes, eines Vermittlers zwischen Familie und Gesellschaft spielen. |

Si ritrovano le figure di fratelli e sorelle in tutti gli investimenti pulsionali. Poichè non esiste differenza di generazione, fratelli e sorelle caratterizzano, più dell’identifcazione ai genitori, le scelte esistenziali a livello dell’Io. I rapporti tra fratelli e sorelle costituirebbero una « funzione », svolgendo un ruolo di legame di passaggio, mediatore tra famiglia e società. |
