| Summary, etc. | Comment expliquer que les zones rurales isolées ont cessé de voir partir leur population et que dans le même temps le patrimoine bâti des villages n’a jamais été aussi délabré et menacé ? Un bon nombre de néo-ruraux identifient le village rural à un écrin de verdure et non à un territoire d’activités et de développement économique. L’observation foncière qui traduit une forte demande résidentielle, conduit à considérer qu’à la satisfaction des besoins résidentiels de néo-ruraux, doit s’ajouter une tertiarisation positive de la part des acteurs locaux, à savoir ne pas se contenter de proposer du bâti, mais, les services, les équipements, et donc à terme des emplois sans doute plus destinés aux retours des natifs, qu’à l’accueil d’ « adoptifs » moins garants d’une dynamique résidentielle. |

| Summary, etc. | The importance of a residential dynamic in isolated rural areas How can we explain the fact that isolated rural areas are not longer suffering from rural drift and yet at the same time the built heritage of villages has never been so dilapidated and in danger of disappearing. Many numerous neo-rurals show that new country dwellers/rural inhabitants identify the rural village with a green setting and not with an area of economic activity and development. This high demand for rural residential property leads us to consider that in order to satisfy the residential needs of the new country dwellers, local actors should include positive tertiarization. In other words, they should not just offer housing but also propose services, facilities, even jobs which are no doubt destined for returning natives rather than welcoming « adopted » residents, who are less likely to guarantee residential dynamics. |
