| Summary, etc. | Depuis quelques années, le thème de l’entreprise libérée s’est progressivement imposé en France, grâce notamment aux travaux de Carney et Getz (2009 ; 2013). Cet article retrace la façon et les raisons pour lesquelles ce type d’entreprise a connu un succès grandissant, même s’il a suscité en retour de vives critiques. Après avoir fait le bilan des principaux éléments de la littérature disponibles sur le sujet, nous concentrons notre attention sur l’exemple de la société Sogilis, spécialisée dans la fabrication de logiciels. Cette recherche nous permet de mieux comprendre les caractéristiques des entreprises libérées et notamment les conditions qui semblent nécessaires à leur réussite. Elle interroge du même coup la capacité des managers à faire face à des pratiques très autonomes et donc hétérogènes. |

| Summary, etc. | Liberated companies : from the genealogy of a model to the identification of its conditions of developmentOver the last few years, the topic of "liberated companies" as gradually emerged in France, largely thanks to the works of Carney and Getz (2009 ; 2013). This article examines how and why these types of enterprises have experienced such an increase in success regardless of the fact that they have been sharply criticized. After reviewing the main elements in the literature available on this subject, we have focused on the example of a company called Sogilis, specialized in the manufacture of software. This study enables us to better understand the key characteristics of liberated companies and more specifically, the conditions necessary for them to succeed. It also questions the ability of managers to deal with autonomous and heterogeneous practices. |
