| Summary, etc. | À partir de deux expériences bédégraphiques, Paroles de sourds (Delcourt, 2005) et Des mots dans les mains (Delcourt, 2007), Bénédicte Gourdon revient sur son travail de prise en charge et de soin des personnes sourdes. Elle retrace le cheminement, depuis le recueil de témoignages documentaires jusqu’au dessin en passant par la scénarisation, nécessaire à la réalisation d’une bande dessinée. Les divers portraits et situations représentés, puis commentés, donnent à comprendre les difficultés rencontrées par les personnes sourdes dans une culture majoritairement entendante. Cet entretien offre l’occasion d’apprécier comment des passerelles peuvent êtres élaborées entre le monde des sourds et celui des entendants à travers des images. |

| Summary, etc. | From two comic-strips experiences, Words of Deaf people (Delcourt, 2005) and Words in hands (Delcourt, 2007), Bénédicte Gourdon evokes her caring work for Deaf people. She describes the journey from collecting documentary testimonies, the scenarization necessary for the construction of a comic-strip, up to the drawing itself. The various portraits and situations represented, then commented, help us understand the difficulties met by Deaf people within a culture dominated by hearing people. This interview offers the opportunity to appreciate how footbridges can be elaborated between the world of Deaf people and the world of hearing people and this through images. |
