| Summary, etc. | La consommation musicale est un système mettant en jeu des artistes, des consommateurs, des prescripteurs qui gravitent autour d’un point commun : les classements musicaux. Cette recherche analyse les variations de trois classements : les ventes physiques, numériques et le téléchargement illégal. Une analyse empirique longitudinale basée sur 7 920 observations permet de montrer que les différents classements sont tous aussi stables les uns que les autres, cependant la durée de vie des artistes n’est pas la même en fonction du classement considéré. |

| Summary, etc. | Music industry is a system with artists, producers, consumers and predictors. These actors have to deal with a common thing : the music rankings. This paper analyzes variations about physical sales ranking, legally downloaded music ranking and illegally downloaded music ranking. A longitudinal study based on 7920 observations allows us to show the different rankings are all as stable as each other, however the surviving time of the artists is not the same depending on the classification considered. |
