| Summary, etc. | Nous nous attachons dans cet article à de nouvelles formes d’habitat dans la vieillesse, que nous appelons citoyennes et solidaires. Pariant sur l’implication des personnes âgées elles-mêmes dans l’organisation de leur habitat, ainsi que sur le lien social et l’entraide au quotidien, ces nouvelles façons d’habiter apparaissent comme une voie essentielle dans la lutte contre la solitude et l’isolement dans la vieillesse. L’article propose une typologie de ces formes d’habitat, qui se développent en France sous des appellations diverses et recouvrent des réalités différentes : résidences intergénérationnelles, béguinages, coopératives d’habitants, colocations étudiant-senior, maisons d’accueil familial, etc. L’article tente aussi un premier bilan des avantages et des limites de ces nouvelles façons d’habiter en citoyenneté et en solidarité dans la vieillesse. Si leurs avantages en termes de lien social et de préservation de l’autonomie sont évidents, leurs limites tiennent pour l’essentiel aux conditions de réalisation et de pérennité de ces habitats encore difficiles en France à l’heure actuelle. |

| Summary, etc. | Collaborative housing for ageing betterThis article deals with new forms of housing in the old age, which are based on the involvement of the elderly themselves in the management of their housing environment, as well as on the promotion of social ties and mutual support. This kind of collaborative housing appears as a good option in the fight against the loneliness and the isolation of the elderly. The article proposes a typology of these new forms of housing and a critical analysis of their advantages and their limits, which are connected to their still difficult conditions of realization and sustainability in France at the moment. |
