Summary, etc. | Nous mobilisons le concept d’image corporate pour étudier dans quelle mesure les directeurs d’établissements de prise en charge de personnes âgées peuvent gérer les parties prenantes avec lesquelles ils doivent agir. La littérature envisage l’image comme un outil à la disposition des acteurs, évaluant alors les décalages éventuels et les marges de manœuvres entre image voulue et image reçue. Au contraire, à partir de deux cas, nous mettons en évidence combien les acteurs attendent que les directeurs puissent élaborer une image objectivable et institutionnalisée, au regard d’un environnement réglementaire et normatif fortement contraignant. Notre travail nous conduit à situer l’image dans le régime de la preuve. |

Summary, etc. | Can we manage the corporate image to implicate the stakeholders ? The case of establishments for elderly peopleThe concept of corporate image is mobilized to study to what extent the directors of establishments for elderly people can manage their stakeholders. The corporate image is viewed by the literature as a tool for managers, through the notions of desired image and accepted image. By contrast, our two case studies highlight how the actors expect the directors to elaborate one objective and institutionalized image, in line with the whole institutionalized and constraining environment. The management of such corporate image rests on a regime of the proof. |
