| Summary, etc. | The sustainable provision and access to water, energy, and waste services in urban areas are now being explored both as service coproduction and as an urban commons. This article aims at linking the reflection on these two streams of literature by investigating how the coproduction of urban water, energy, and waste services in the Global South can inform the reflection on the urban commons. The emphasis is on the spatiality and governance features attached to polycentrism, a concept key both to coproduction and commons. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenEl suministro y el acceso sostenibles en los servicios urbanos convencionales (como el agua, la energía y la recolección de residuos) son hoy objeto de indagación tanto como bienes comunes urbanos como en términos de coproducción de servicios. El objetivo de este artículo consiste en vincular el debate de estas dos corrientes de literatura analizando cómo la coproducción de servicios urbanos de agua, energía y recolección de residuos en el Sur global permite arrojar luz sobre el debate sobre los bienes comunes urbanos. Proponemos tomar en consideración el concepto de policentrismo como elemento clave de la coproducción y de los bienes comunes. Se considera la espacialidad y la gobernanza como dos perspectivas complementarias para conducir esta exploración en paralelo. |
