Summary, etc. | Les associations de lutte contre la corruption tiennent un rôle essentiel de contre-expertise par rapport aux autorités gouvernementales. Elles se sont développées en France depuis le début des années 2000. Elles sont au nombre de quatre. L’article analyse la façon dont se combinent les trois dimensions de leur stratégie d’action : la mobilisation des publics, l’appui de la politique publique et la critique. Leur rôle est essentiel pour deux raisons majeures. D’une part, elles agissent dans un contexte social dissonant où les citoyens ont souvent une attitude ambigüe vis-à-vis de la corruption. D’autre part, en raison des nombreuses lacunes de la réaction sociale institutionnalisée, celle des agences et celle de la justice. |

Summary, etc. | Anticorruption associations play a key role in providing counter-expertise to government authorities. In France, they have grown since early 2000s. This article aims to analyse the way in which the three dimensions of such associations’ strategy are combined: 1) public mobilization; 2) public policy support; 3) social critics. Their role is crucial for at least two major reasons. On the one hand, they act in a dissonant social context in which citizens often have an ambiguous attitude towards corruption. On the other, they relate to the many shortcomings of the institutionalised social reaction from State agencies and the justice system. |
