If migration changes identity landmarks of the subject, the context of social dominance and rejection amplifies the feeling of distress. This situation is amplified when social institutions work into the family sphere. This article examines the path of a foreign family whose baby was bluntly taken away from them to be entrusted to the child welfare services. This situation became with, at first, difficulties to establish relationships with social workers because of misunderstandings. Indeed, parents refused the presence of the social workers because they lived the placement of them baby like an abduction and they felt threated and insecure with them.It was necessary to modify the support work, to adjust social interventions for these parents accept it. Indeed, giving them the opportunity to use spaces and moments which made they feel secure contributed to create a real support work. Sometimes, it seems necessary to create the framework so that Families could completely take the support work offer, often living like intrusive and disturbing.
